US Navy P-8A 169329 delivery

US Navy P-8A (737-8FV) 169329 msn 62295 ln 6273 flew away on delivery Aug 23 BFI-Jacksonville NAS flying as Navy RC330 with 3 people on board.  Hex code AE5C5B.  Despite the callsign this was in fact 169329.

  1. Hi Tyke, id be pretty certain this is 329 but just checked the history on this code and its been up as BOE 066 & 067 so somethings a bit odd here. Do you know if this has actually been eyeballed departing!

  2. Hi Madfox, no eyeball yet but there may be a pic later from one of the locals. There is photo proof of 329 on its flights on Aug 10 and Jul 31 and both those were AE5C5B on the box. I'm confident this was 169329 as the timing is right and the number of flights it's made since completion of mods. 330 has only made 2 flights and 1 of those was the functional check flight after completion of mods.

  3. FYI it was Navy RC330 on the radio as well, so not a fat finger issue with the ADS-B callsign inputting!

  5. Madfox, "YP068" (internal Boeing code for 169330) has just been noted at stall 77 at the Military Flight Center doing a maintenance engine run so that confirms it was 169329 that flew on Aug 23.
